The staff to patient ratios at Northwest Specialty Hospital are 1-to-1 for recovery and between 1-to-1 and 1-to-3 for in-patient surgeries. Every patient receives the individual attention they deserve. Northwest Specialty has six operating rooms, three procedure rooms, 22 private patient rooms, a full recovery room and a cafeteria. NWSH is licensed to hAvenue 34 in-patient beds. Surgeries at the hospital include, but are not limited to, ear, nose and throat; bariatrics, podiatry, orthopedics; pain management; neurosurgery; plastic and reconstructive surgery; general and gynecology. Northwest Specialty Hospital houses the region?s only open air MRI, which eliminates the feeling of claustrophobia common to older, enclosed versions. It is also much more comfortable for individuals who hAvenue broad shoulder or who may be heavyset. Northwest Specialty Hospital also houses its own X-ray and laboratory facilities. Endoscopic procedures are performed here by our specialists.
