Safe Start and Heritage Health are teaming up to offer **Ready, Set, Baby! – A Safe Start for Your New Arrival**, a FREE, three-hour event designed to help expecting families feel confident, prepared, and connected to valuable community resources before welcoming their new baby! 

**Saturday, November 7, 2026** **10:00 AM – 1:00 PM** **Heritage Health Center for Healthy Living** Coeur d'Alene, Idaho **Here's what's planned:** 💤 **10–11 AM | Safe Sleep 101** Learn simple, lifesaving ways to create a safer sleep environment for your baby and reduce the risk of sleep-related infant death. 🥪 **11 AM–12 PM | Lunch & Community Connections** Enjoy a FREE lunch while meeting local organizations offering programs, education, and resources for growing families. 🚗 **12–1 PM | Car Seat 101** Learn how to choose, install, and properly use your baby's car seat before bringing your little one home. 🎁 **Plus, every participating family will receive a FREE infant sleep sack!** New car seats and portable cribs may also be available to families in need, based on program eligibility and available resources. **Who Can Attend?** This event is exclusively for expecting families in their **third trimester of pregnancy** who reside in one of Idaho's five northern counties: Kootenai, Bonner, Boundary, Benewah, or Shoshone. Each expecting parent may bring one adult guest.
