Human Resources Specialist

The Community Library Network at Post Falls has a 40-hour per week Human Resource Specialist position open. This position will receive PERSI retirement benefits, health and dental insurance, paid holidays, and vacation and sick leave benefits. Work hours are primarily Monday – Friday.
 
The Human Resource Specialist position works closely with the Administrative Team and reports to the Library Director. The position is responsible for recruiting and onboarding employees, maintaining employee records, managing FMLA and workers’ compensation cases, processing payroll, and administering employee benefits. The job requires strong attention to detail, understanding of human resources principles, professional communication, and computer skills.
 
The successful applicant has:

  • Associate’s degree in Business Administration and/or Human Resources; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • One to three years’ Human Resources experience; one year in the public sector preferred
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work
  • Enjoys interacting with a wide variety of people
  • Demonstrates a willingness to learn and lead
 
Starting at $24.52 per hour.
