Position Overview
The Shift Lead plays a key role in frontline customer service, and periodically assists with food prep, ensuring smooth daily operations. This position requires the ability to take customer orders, serve prepared food, reheat items, and independently handle kitchen and front-end closing duties once trained.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer experience with friendly and efficient service
• Take orders, handle transactions, and serve prepared food to guests
• Reheat food and follow proper food handling procedures
• Perform kitchen and service area opening/closing tasks independently
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Monitor inventory and restock as needed
• Participate in events, including farmers' markets and festivals
• Engage in promotional activities (e.g., sample serving, social media content)
• Ensure food is prepared and presented according to SRC standards
• Work effectively with minimal supervision

• Previous food service or kitchen experience required
• Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
• Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Comfortable working independently or in a small team
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including event-based shifts
