Stitch Studio: Sewing & Fiber Arts Spring Break Camp (Ages 8+)

Campers become designers, makers, and textile artists as they learn to turn fabric into something uniquely their own. This hands-on camp blends creativity, skill-building, and imagination — one stitch at a time. Campers will: Learn foundational sewing skills and machine safety Practice hand-stitching and decorative embroidery techniques Weave on both small tabletop looms and a large collaborative loom Design and sew their own projects — from bags and pillows to stuffed animals Create a special surprise Mother’s Day gift Personalize their creations with colors, textures, and patterns From threading a needle for the first time to finishing a project they can proudly use, gift, or display, campers build confidence with every stitch. Along the way, they’ll explore texture, pattern, design, and problem-solving as they move from idea ? sketch ? fabric ? finished piece.
