Sewing and Fabric Arts: Level 1 Tuesdays (Ages 8+)

Session Dates (4): Friday, April 7th Friday, April 14th Friday, April 21st Friday, April 28th Time: 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM Description: Get ready to thread the needle and let your creativity shine in Sewing & Fabric Arts: Level 1—a fun, hands-on 4-week class for ages 8 and up! Whether you’ve never sewn before or have tried a few stitches at home, this class is the perfect place to start. Students will learn the fundamentals of hand sewing, safely use a sewing machine, explore how to read and cut simple patterns, and get comfortable with essential sewing tools like pins, scissors, and measuring tapes. Along the way, you’ll practice real techniques while creating fabric projects you’ll be proud to show off. Best of all, students can earn sewing badges as they master new skills—celebrating progress, patience, and creativity with every stitch. By the end of the class, you’ll have the confidence (and skills!) to keep sewing and designing on your own. Students can continue with new projects as Level 1 students who have taken a prior Level 1 class! This will prepare them for the Level 2 class when ready. Age: 8+
