Event Description:
In this 10-week course, students experience the process of auditioning, rehearsing, preparing, and performing a Musical Theatre Revue for an invited audience.
Each session’s revue consists of selected songs and scenes from a featured Broadway composer, and is cast according to the unique strengths of that session’s students.
Audition technique, memorization, blocking, diction, projection, rehearsal & performance etiquette, stage makeup application, stage presence, choreography, and the basics of stagecraft (sound, lights, set design, and more) are explored in this course.
