Hospice of North Idaho's FREE Advance Care Planning Conference

Join us on National Health Care Decisions Day to learn from experts in the community about Advance Care Planning and receive support at each stage of the process from trained professionals throughout the community. You will learn why it is important and how to create a plan that will be meaningful to you and your loved ones.

 

This event is intended for all members of the community who would like to get started on their advance care plan.

 

Advance Care Planning is making decisions about the healthcare you want to receive in the event that you become unable to speak for yourself. Some examples of this include:
• Advance Directive
• Living Will
• Durable Power of Attorney for Healthcare

 

Agenda (subject to change):
- Introduction to Advance Care Planning with Hospice of North Idaho professionals
- Discuss legal considerations
- Role of EMS and Emergency Planning 
- Learn about Medicare and different types of insurance

 

Doors open at 12 PM
Education Sessions from 1-3 PM
