Use the forge and smith ornate steel hooks Session Date: Thursday, April 3rd Time: 5:00 - 9:00 PM Description: Class consists of shop safety, proper use/care of tools and processes/techniques with demonstration. Students will be working with hot metal, forge, anvil, various hammers and a few power tools. They will learn how to work with hot metal by the processes of forging, twisting and shaping into form creating wall mount ornate hooks. Along with the process to clean to blacken/seal metal in bee’s wax. Students must wear closed toed shoes and attire which is natural fibers. (Cotton, wool, denim, etc....) No synthetic clothing (polyester, spandex, nylon, etc...) Age: 18 years or older. Cost: $80.00 for class + $15.00 for materials Instructed By: Dave Gonzales
